Ha Giang is a large area, you need to spend a few days here to get the best out of it. If you are in for an adventure, we recommend a private motorbike tour or rent a motorbike with a driver. For those travellers who prefer more comfort but don’t want to miss the spectacular views, we arrange tours by private car and driver. We can also arrange treks for you if you decide to travel Ha Giang on your own. Of course, your private guide will accompany you along the way!

Customizable Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Nam Dam Village (L/D) - Slepping or Day bus

06:00 – 06:45 Pick up in Hanoi

12:45 -13:15 Arrive in Ha giang and enjoy the lunch in local restaurant.

14:00 Leaving city for Quan Ba Mountain town. On the way you can take some photos of the magnificent views of the rice fields, mountains and valleys.

15:30 Relax in Heaven`s Gate, enjoy the fresh air & see the panorama of Tam Son Town from above, afterwards we head to the countryside where you will be welcomed by local Tay families.

16:00 Take a rest and freshen up before explore the beautiful village.

19:00 Enjoy local delicious dinner in one of the local homestays. Overnight in local Dao`s homestay

Day 2: Twin Mountain – Meo Vac - Dong Van – Mapileng pass (B/L/D)

7:00 Have breakfast, enjoy the fresh air of breathtaking mountains, check out from the homestay and visit Twin Mountain then continue your journey to Meo Vac.

12:00 Enjoy lunch in Meo Vac.

13:00 We keep going to Dong Van and conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is one of the most beautiful Rocky Mountains, unique landscape and famous place in Ha Giang. From above, you will have chance to take beautiful pictures on Nho Que River, an winding green river which flows from China and through Vietnam for about 46 km.

15:30 Continue to visit the small dotted village where H`mong people live with extraordinary mountainous landscapes.

17:00 Check in at the Hotel / Homestay in Dong Van Town.

19:00 Have dinner and enjoy the night in Old town

Day 3: Dong Van – H’mong King palace -Hanoi (B/L/D) - Limousine bus.

If you are here on early morning Sunday you have chance to experience the very exciting and Colorful Dong Van market, where a dozen tribes living in the surrounding area, and traditionally dressed, come to sell their goods…

08:30 After breakfast, start a new day to Dong Van rocky highland Geopark

This place is unique combination between Geoheritages and cultural heritages. It not only is sculpture product, a historical rocky page of the nature present to human people but also contain values of biological diversity, tourism, fossils...Especially, the cultural of community 17 ethnic groups on Dong Van karst plateau Geopark
On the way you come to visit the Hmong King`s Palace. This is one of the most special cultural and historical monuments in Dong Van

12:30 – 13:00 Enjoy lunch in local restaurant right next to peaceful stream then back to Ha Giang

16:00 Return to Ha Noi

22:30 Arrive back in Ha Noi. Say good bye to you and see you next trips

Amazing trip out of Hanoi which takes 2hr and gives your breathtaking views from mua cave. Challenging 500 steps... Soaking wet but worth it! After 2 more caves with explanation of its history from Chris (our guide) who was always with us to make sure we don't do something stupid :)))) Small group of 10 ensures we don't feel too crowded. A good advise.... Don't be lazy and skip the cycling tour.... Its amazing! And easy for everyone.
